Dear dancers, directors and parents,
It is an honor to extend this invitation to you and your team to participate in the most exciting and toughest clogging competition of the year. Clogging Champions of America’s Showdown of Champions is going to be held in Knoxville, Tennessee, on January 27 & 28, 2012. This year’s event is going to host the best cloggers in the world.
We want to make it easy for you and your dancers to get ready for the Showdown by making registration a smooth process. Please go to our website at www.ccaclog.com/qualifiers and check the information to ensure that our records are correct. If you find any errors, please contact Kevin Parries immediately. After reviewing the star points and category qualifications, please download the registration form(s) to enter the national championships. Please use a separate form for each registering team. We have a separate registration form for sanctioned categories and one for the extra, “wild card” categories. Please complete all registration forms and email to ccakevin@aol.com.
Below is a step-by-step process to complete the registration. It’s as easy as 1-2-3!
1. Go to www.ccaclog.com/qualifiers and check your qualifications and star points awarded. If you feel there are any errors, please contact Kevin Parries at ccakevin@aol.com or 828-687-8600.
2. Download and complete the registration form(s) and email to ccakevin@aol.com and print a copy of the form(s) and mail to the address below.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: January 9, 2012
You are not considered to be registered until the registration forms have been emailed and entry fees have been received by Clogging Champions of America. Please do not mail them with a signature required.
NO REGISTRATION WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE DOOR!
Remember, CCA requires each participant of the Showdown of Champions to have a copy of their birth certificate on file. IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED YOUR BIRTH CERTIFICATE OR PROOF OF BIRTH DATE FOR YOUR DANCERS, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO RESUBMIT. If you have questions regarding birth certificates please contact Rhonda Wallen at 864-590-6639.

Team Categories: $15.00 per person/per dance
Wildcard/Extra Categories: $15.00 per person/per dance
Solos (Amateur/Challenge): $15.00 per person/per dance
Choreographed Solos: $30.00 per person/per dance
Duo/Duet/Show/Short: $40.00 per couple/per dance

WILDCARD Categories:
CCA is excited to offer WILDCARD/Extra categories at the 2012 Showdown of Champions. Acapella Team, Acapella Solos, Traditional Solos, Starz & Traditional Categories will be offered on Friday, January 27, 2012, after the sanctioned categories preliminary competition.
You DO NOT have to be qualified to enter! Special Awards will be given to the winners of these categories. Rules and more information are available at www.ccaclog.com/rules

Program Book Ads:
We would like to invite you to show your support to your dancers and studio by placing an ad in our program book. Just a reminder that the ads for the Showdown program book will be due by January 9, 2012. We are excited to be able to keep the prices the same as last year:
$75.00: Half Page Ad
$100.00: Full Page Ad
Ads must be submitted to Blake Wallen at Jwallen543@charter.net in a PDF or JPEG file. If you send it in any other type they may not look the same as you intended. Please make sure you proof read your ad as CCA is not responsible for misspelled words or errors. Please let your parents know that they can also purchase an ad for the program booklet to support your team and their child by using the same process outlined above. You can pre-order programs for you and your studio by emailing Jwallen543@charter.net. Programs must be pre-paid and a minimum order of 10 programs can be ordered before the event.
