Showdown is finally here and we are very excited that you have chosen to spend this weekend with us! Attached you will find a Showdown newsletter that contains all of the information that your dancers and parents will want to know before they arrive. Some of this information you may have received, but there is additional information included in a newsletter format that you can forward directly to your dancers for their convenience. Please, send to everyone that is attending, so that they will have the best experience possible, once they arrive.
A HUGE “Thank you!” goes out to Blake Dunn and Heather Kohberger for putting this information together for all of us. They have done an exceptional job!
Included in the newsletter, you will find the names and contact information for all of our board members and associates. Do not hesitate to contact one of us, if you have any questions regarding the weekend.
If you have any concerns throughout the Showdown, let us know. We have worked hard to ensure that this is the best Showdown possible, and we are “Driven” to make certain that you and your dancers have an amazing experience from beginning to end.

It is that time of year again and we are excited for another great Showdown! To the right you will find registration forms for the 2014 Showdown of Champions. It will be held in Knoxville, TN at the Knoxville Auditorium again this year, and our host hotel will be the Marriott. If you have not made your reservations yet, we suggest you do so, as those rooms go quickly. Information for the Marriott is available at the link above.
Below you will find some information that you will need to participate in the Showdown this year:
Registration Forms: The above registration forms MUST be used. You must fill it out and send via-email before the registration deadline which is January 10, 2014, to email@example.com
Dancer’s Ages: When filling out the registration make sure you list the dancers for the age they will be on the day of the Showdown.
The printed forms along with your check or credit card must be mailed to:

To clarify: The registration forms must be emailed and mailed with your registration fees.
Birth Certificates: Make sure you get all your birth certificates to Rhonda Wallen firstname.lastname@example.org in a timely fashion. All should be to her no later than January 15th, 2013.
Registration Fees: Fees are $17.00 per dancer per category. i. e. team dancers-$17.00 per category. Duo/Duet and short duets are $15.00 each, (for a total of $30.00) and regular solos are $17.00 each. Choreographed Solos will be $30.00 per dancer.
Spectator Fees: One day (either Friday or Saturday is $10.00 – Two day is $18.00.
Program Books: We are, again, offering our program books in black and white and color. The cost for these are (B&W) $15.00 and (color) $25.00. You may pre-order the books by sending an email to Rhonda at email@example.com
If you would like to publish a picture or an ad in the program book, Rhonda must have your ad by January 3rd, 2014. They may be sent electronically to her email which is stated above.
Pricing for these ads are as follows:
$75.00 for ½ page ad.
$100.00 for a full page.
If Blake has to design it there will be a $50.00 design fee.

The dance off line-up will be determined by the scorekeeper. If you have more than one dance in the dance-off you may choose which routine you want placed in the slot.
Also, Since the line-up for the Showdown is taken from the star points, there shouldn’t be any back-to-back dancing. If there is, we (CCA) should know this and will contact you. At the event, you have 30 seconds to make your stage-call, if you are not there you will most likely be disqualified.
