Dear Team Directors:
It is that time of year again and we are excited for another great Showdown! Attached you will find the registration for the 2013 Showdown of Champions. It will be held in Knoxville, TN at the Knoxville Auditorium again this year, and our host hotel will be the Marriott. If you have not made your reservations yet, we suggest you do so, as those rooms go quickly. Information for the Marriott is available on our website. www.ccaclog.com.
Below you will find some information that you will need to participate in the Showdown this year.
- The registration form MUST be used. You must fill it out and send via-email before the registration deadline which is January 11, 2013, to ccalynne@aol.com.
- When filling out the registration make sure you list the dancers for the age they will be on the day of the Showdown. Also, please make every effort to put the CCA number on your registration form.
- The original along with your check or credit card must be mailed to Lynne Ogle, PO Box 368, Milligan College, Johnson City, TN 37682.
To clarify: The registration forms must be emailed and mailed with your registration fees.

Registration Fees:
Fees are $15.00 per dancer per category. i.e. team dancers-$15.00 per catetory. Duo/Duet and short duets are $15.00 each, (for a total of $30.00) and regular solos are $15.00 each. Choreographed Solos will be $30.00 per dancer.
Spectator Fees:
One day (either Friday or Saturday) is $10.00. Two day is $15.00
Program Books:
We are, again, offering our program books in black and white and color. The cost for these are (B&W) $15.00 and (color) $25.00. You may pre-order the books by sending an email to Rhonda at rwallen543@charter.net
If you would like to publish a picture or an ad in the program book, Rhonda must have your ad by January 9th, 2013. They may be sent electronically to her email which is stated above.
Pricing for these ads are as follows:
$75.00 for ½ page ad.
$100.00 for a full page.
If Blake has to design it there will be a $50.00 design fee.

Video Montage:
We are preparing a montage of videos to show on the screen. We would like for you to send Janelle videos of you all practicing for the Showdown. Include your enthusiasm; practicing hard; your talks to each other during practice. Send these videos to Janelle Bowker at bowker.janelle@gmail.com. She would like to get these as soon after the first of the year as possible.
New for the Showdown of Champions this year!
The dance off line up will be determined by the scorekeeper. If you have more than one dance in the dance-off you may choose which routine you want placed in the slot.
Also, Since the line-up for the Showdown is taken from the star points, there shouldn’t be any back-to-back dancing. If there is, we (CCA) should know this and will contact you. At the event, you have 30 seconds to make your stage-call, if you are not there you will most likely be disqualified.
